Welding Ring of Fire
The Design For Ring of Fire required large amounts of welding. With one working welder I laid out, jigged, welded, and ground down the 6 legs and one header required. For a woodworking shop I would say we did pretty well! On top of this set being metal it also required us to bend tube steel. The shop achieved this by cutting relief cuts at particular angles to fit the curve. A lot of surface welds.

Jigged out 90 degree welds first, using large 2x6 to keep mental up off of floor. total width is 23 feet.

Pipe clamped curve into position against angled cuts, welded to upright supports before welding back together the relief cuts to form curve.
